Very beautiful, Kristine. The piece reminds me quite a bit of Kandinsky, who wrote: “Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul.” Look forward to seeing more!

I sure will check out your blog. :) Music is more immediate/universal than the visual arts, perhaps. But visual art is transcendent as well, I believe. The two go hand-in-hand. Funny that Lévi-Strauss thinks music has become the repository of Western myth, huh? Keep up the beautiful work!
