We thank these past contributors to Bread and Circus online magazine –

  • Frank J. Colagiovanni, contributing writer, is an award-winning freelance copywriter. His writing includes broadcast, print and interactive advertising, as well as random, ranting emails. This work, with the exception of the emails, has earned awards and recognition for creativity and results. When he’s not in front of his Mac, Frank can be found behind a set of custom Ludwig drums. He also spends his time at Fenway, watching the Red Sox from his front row seats, obsessing over the Boston College hockey, basketball and football teams, and adoring his wife. Visit his web-site at: www.colagiovanni.com.
  • Kathleen Ginder-Vogel, contributing writer, holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in English from Stanford University and a teaching credential in English (with Cross-Cultural Language and Development certification) in the state of California. Kathleen has ten years’ experience in written communications, ranging from public relations and marketing to product management, packaging, and internet content management. She has edited scientific papers published in Nature and Environmental Science and Technology, written for Clif Bar and the Gap, secured coverage for PR clients in the San Francisco Chronicle and InStyle, and won awards for curriculum units she designed as a teacher. She runs her own freelance writing business, PoppyCommunications.
  • Colleen Michaels, contributing writer, received her B.A. in English from the University of Buffalo and her M.A. in English from SUNY College at Fredonia, where she received the Dean’s Award for Excellence for her thesis, “Devil in a Green Dress: A Study of Morgan le Fay in Medieval Arthurian Literature.” She now spends her time writing poetry that is not about Morgan le Fay, teaching and tutoring writing at Montserrat College of Art, and growing tomatoes with her husband and daughter.
